week1-after the fact or week 2

WEEK 2....Thing #3....I am way out of my comfort zone managing these"23 things" but I am intent on making it through and learning from the experience. I have read some of the other blogs that my coworkers have created but I found that a little frustrating because I don't socialize on the internet and I feel that I have better and more important things to do with my time. I liked learning about the pointers from lifelong learners. I am a lifelong learner - Over the years I have taught myself how to research my family history , how to make homemade yeast breads, and how to plant good flower gardens to name a few learning experiences. Anyone involved in genealogy will tell you that you are always learning and always trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together. The easiest lifelong lesson for me to use is to teach and mentor others and the hardest is and will be to use technology to my advantage - although that's exactly what I am learning to do right now.

Hi to all:
A bit about me- I'm an identical twin and I work in circulation at a HCPL branch in MD. That should immediatly identify me( for better or worse) to some of you out there. I've got a husband who works very long hours, 2 kids , 2 cats and a dog . I went back to work almost three years ago after being out of the work force for more than 8 years. I have lived in 8 states, 13 towns, and umpteen( is this a word?) different houses and apartments. Most people would say that I'm very outgoing and occasionally goofy. Even though I'm working on this blog now I honestly have no time or desire to socialize on the web or read blogs created by people that I have never even met. I'm really outside of my comfort zone working on this "23 things" program through the library, but I do recognize the merit in completing the program and look forward to using some of my soon to be acquired skills when using the computer for genealogy research.
